Partnership Grant Introduces New Cooking Class

STILLWATER, Minn. -- April 26, 2024 -- Students at Brookview Elementary are now able to explore international cuisine, thanks to a grant presented by The Partnership Plan.

With their grant, Mrs. Mitchell and Mrs. Sandager initiated an after school cooking class for students to introduce them to new food and preparation techniques. Mrs. Ali was the first guest chef, teaching students how to make Somali Rice, Malawah, and sauce. They were also able to try different flavors of hot tea.

Students are already excited for their next culinary exploration!
