Leadership Changes Taking Place at Several District Schools
STILLWATER, Minn. -- April 2, 2025 -- Stillwater Area Public Schools is making several changes in school leadership as it continues to build strong and supportive environments for students. Beginning Thursday, April 3, the following changes will be in effect for the remainder of the school year:
Brett Stringer, who has served as interim principal at Brookview Elementary School this winter, assumes the permanent role of principal. He brings more than a decade of experience as a school leader and has built a strong connection with the Brookview community.
Malinda Major is serving as a principal on special assignment at Stillwater Middle School, with assigned duties as assistant principal. She brings a wealth of experience at both the school and district levels and has a deep commitment to building meaningful relationships with students, staff, and families.
Kristin Rolling, who has served as the assistant principal at Stillwater Middle, transitions to a new role as assistant principal of Brookview and Lake Elmo elementary schools. She began her career in Stillwater Schools as a school psychologist at the elementary level and brings her passion and experience of supporting younger learners.
